A Ugandan agribusiness running a commercial maize farm of about 9.5 acres in Zirobwe, Luwero District, with poultry in development.
AKEMO Ventures started where a sound agribusiness should: with the land. It farms maize commercially in Zirobwe, Luwero District, in central Uganda, and is building the infrastructure, people and routines a productive farm needs.
From that base, the company is developing commercial poultry and planning horticulture. Processing, trade and export opportunities are being evaluated, not yet operated.
